There is a skytrain station (Surasak) nearby. From it, just walk East (the sun rises in the East!) 300m and look to your left. Note that Sathon Road has a canal running down the middle of it, so get on the North (left) side of it when you get a chance.
If you are coming from Silom, walk down the road (Thanon Pan / ปัน) next to the big Hindu Temple (Sri Maha Mariammam).
If you are coming from the Khao San Road area, you can take the Chao Phraya River boat (“river taxi”) to Sapan Taksin then Skytrain/motorbike taxi/walk East from there.
I haven’t got a visa from here, but some kind poeple HERE described all the details at November 2016.
Update – 1 Dec 2016. The base price for a tourist visa has gone up from 810 baht to 1600 baht. An evisa for $50 is an alternative.
